I had a Samsara Break/Jump tip installed on my cue and the tip started to come apart layer for layer. Are there any other leather break/jump tips out there? Preferably non-layered.

You got a bad tip. My Samsura has been on my breaker for well over a year w/out issue. Hard enough to break with but you could almost play with it if you had to. I have heard that the leather breaker tip that Cue Components makes is really good and relatively cheap.

I have the Talisman X Hard on mine.
I have not had any issue since I bought the break cue with that tip in over 2 years.
At this time, the tip itself is still just fine but a friend of mine has noticed that is starting to separate from the ferrule.
Other than that, no problems whatsoever.

LMAOEven with it finally letting go at the ferule... still broke great, likely would have held on for a while longer. But better safe that sorry!
And 6 Shooter... pssst if you bring the break rack to league I can guarantee to add 5mph to your break in 10 minutes or less
