looking for someone who does tip replacements around Boston area

Any recommendations for someone you trust to do tip replacements around the Boston or Boston Metro West area? What does it cost for a tip replacement if I provide the tip?

What part of Metro West? I live in Bellingham and I drive down to Providence and see Mike Webb when I need work done. He is top shelf.

Depends on the repairman. Some will charge you the same amount even if you provide the tip. Some will charge you a nominal fee $10-$15 if you supply the tip. Some will not use your tip because they don't warranty a tip they didn't purchase.

Best bet, learn to replace and maintain your own tips.

Mike has done my tips for as long as I can remember (20+ years) and they always came out perfect. Never had a problem.
