Looking for the measurements to mark my cloth when i glue it on

THIS video shows the measurements for a 7', I will be covering a 8' and then my own 9' soon after. How much do these numbers change?

Quick answer, clamp one side of cloth to slate. Pull with maximum stretch, mark cloth on other side of slate while stretched. Subtract 3/4 of an inch.

Depends on the cloth used. Some stretches a lot, and some not so much.
