Making a trip down to FLA and was wondering if there's any 'must do' things in and around the Tampa-Orlando corridor. Looking for really nice pool halls, hall of fame spots, cue makers, or other points of interest.

...of course the pool hall I prefer in the area is Stroker's Palm Harbor. They have in-house tournaments on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 pm until around 11. The staff there is extremely friendly! I was fortunate to meet both house pros...Tony Crosby and Stephanie Mitchell. I recommended Stroker's to Matt90 a while back. He went and was impressed. I hope you enjoy your stay in our area!

thx

Thank you very much Heather. I will plan on visiting the pool hall. Just packing up pool cues and family for the trip (in that order). should be down there early next week.

Is that all there is in the area? No other points of interest? I can't spend all my time on beaches and visiting the mouse.

Golf Hall of Fame is in St Augustine, about 2 hours from Orlando. Plenty of outlet malls in the Orlando area. There are dog tracks in Orlando, St. Pete, and Tampa. The Hard Rock Casino is in Tampa, Las Vegas style gambling. Ringling Bros museum is in Sarasota, it is nice. Plus plenty of pool rooms. Let me know when you will be in Orlando, maybe we can play some. A nice Sat afternoon tourny at Clicks at 2pm. Good luck and enjoy yourself. Tom
