I currently shoot with a rich benson custom cue and have owner many of his cues. He makes really great cues by the way.But I'm looking into a new custom cue maker to try out, but the biggest reason I want a new cue make and cue is that I have only cues wih stainless joints made by R. Benson. Now looking into a plain jane custom cue with a fiber joint and a 3/8-10 pin and want to try something differrent. So here can be recommend for a custom cue plain jane fiber joint with great playability with at a great price?

I would strongly recommend Sheldon Lebow. When I moved to Oregon, I discovered a remarkable percentage of the better players there used his cues. I tried hitting many of them and I was consistently impressed. Moreover, I can't tell you how many players said they had been "cue whores" but stopped when they got his cue.

Sheldon is a great guy to work with and he makes a fantastic product. Best of all, he's close to you.

In the great Northwest, Dave Jones or Sheldon Lebow. Sheldon is an AZB poster.

exotic inlay custom full splice sneaky from Keith Josey (Josey Custom Cues). imo the most cue for the money. their playability is as good as it gets.

I forgot to say, I've seen that cue you mentioned. It's owned by a guy named Josh ____ (I forget his last name.). Beautiful cue. I've hit it, too, and it plays great. Another that I really liked was a "slash" design owned by a guy named Bob--loooooong hesitation in his stroke-______ (again I forget his last name). That cue I loved. Simple, different, interesting and great balance and hit. I decided that cue was too good for Bob to own, and had a plan for knocking him off and taking the cue, but I had to move before I could effect it.
