looking to buy sugar tree cue

Eric Crip .. the cuemaker ... is a very fine gentleman. He's very busy now and quoting 2 years for cues. His cues, generally, are not *fancy* but still very nice.

I've had a maple cue with buckhorn joint that hits fine .. very stiff hitting with nice feedback.

Sugartree cues are very hard to come by in secondary market and when they do, it will be at premium. Still nice cue for the money.

Definitely nice cues from the ones I've seen. I've had the privilege of testing out a Sugartree and it hits like no other. Eric uses premium wood in his cues. You won't regret getting one.

yes its very rare to see a sugartree up for grabs and they usually dont last long when they do come about. i was checking out new2youqs and they are going to be selling some of his cues soon. not sure if it will be just sneaky petes to start with as that is all they have for preview pictures.

I had the privilege of testing out somebody's sugartree for the first time tonight. The wood on the cue was abosuletly gorgeous. Curly purpleheart with curly handle. As far as hit goes, it hit VERY stiff. Maybe even too stiff. FWIW IMO

sugartree

I love my sugartree and like the stiff hit. To echo the others, Eric takes extra care in picking out the wood he uses. My sneaky has great figure.

Thanks

Eric makes an sawesome cue and is a first class guy to deal with.

I've got a Sugartree, a very simple players cue - but it hits a million bucks, hard hit, great feel and very accurate.
I also got a another Sugartree for a friend, her cue is a very nice slightly fancy sneaky, purple into birdseye, with buckhorn joints and cap - now that is a cue with some amazing feel, if she ever sells it I'll be snapping that one back up.

If you can get one of Erics cues, do it, but good luck finding one, they seem to rarely come up second hand. As stated his waiting list is 2 years now, to which I can attest since I am still waiting on another cue to be built.

Since Eric doesn't have a website, these are the two cues I have from him.
