Hi there. I'm looking to buy a used 18.5 - 18.8 weight Classy/Cool well balanced Pool Cue.
Of course, straight, no issues or problems, etc is a given "must," so used, but in great condition. I say well balanced because I like one handed shots sometimes. The shaft should be great for all around play, not something more for breaking or whatever.
What I mean by classy/cool is earth tones… inlays can be ornate but not flashy, not bright weird or primary colors or sculls etc etc. (In other words, flashy as in, wow, that's drop dead gorgeous, rather then flashy as in fuzzy dice hanging from a mirror), A molted sort of look in the pallet of browns/blacks, and grays/silvers/gold and then if there is a bright color for highlight, that's fine if it's the right color and classy. (No blue though because my lady hates blue for some weird reason and it's rubbed off on me a little.) I like good contrast between the design elements. I'm undecided about wrap or no wrap… again, if it's in great shape, which it must be, and feels good, solid, I might prefer a wrap but I don't really know that part for sure.
I'm here instead of eBay because I want it to be pool player to pool player. I want a great deal on a special cue. (Who doesn't, I know, but I'm already worried about buying something like this over the internet and will take the forum rule's advice of paying through some sort of escrow service or whatever it's called.)
I live in Portland OR, will be traveling down to Santa Cruz CA, then San Francsco and back up through Nevada City CA and Ashland OR next week (1st week of May 2014) and I will be up in Seattle not long after that, so if you live in any of those places even better!!!!!
