Hi all,

This is a great forum by the way! I am having to learn to play again after a back injury. I would like to find a good quality cue in good condition for $175.00 or less. I really like the McDermott, and Joss cues but I know beggars can't be choosers. Please PM me if you have a lead or something to offer!

Thank you all!

Just took this McDermott G-201 in on trade cue is about 2 months old, customer traded in for a break cue, cue is in excellent shape. Retais for $245

$150 shipped
I also have a used joss cx26 in on trade 12mm shaft with a emerald tip
Great shape retails for $525 selling for $230

Re

Thanks for the offers, they all seem to be a really nice deal, I am a bit picky I guess, and I certainly am not spending enough money to be picky! I am still looking, I found a McDermott locally but I cannot identify it, is there a good place to look other than McDermotts website?

Thanks

The website is fairly complete but if you can get any sort of pictures I would be glad to identify for you.

How about this . . .

for a little more, $200 shipped, I have a Dale Perry (19 oz, 13 mm, hardly used) player, Elite break cue and a 2x4 soft case.

If you're interested, I can give more details and pics.

Thanks.
Dave

I have lots of cues...too many to list. Now if you want to say what you want, I might be able to help.

Wrapless, Irish Linen, Leather?
Any particular brand?
What weight?
What size tip? Most are always 12.75-13mm of course.
How about a certain color?
Inlays or plain jane?

New Joss...no problem.

re

After looking around a bit more, and playing with some different cues here are my thoughts.

1) I might be able to go up to 250.00 but would rather not.
2) I have been offered a few nice looking cues that I have no knowledge of so I really don't know how to reply (for instance the offer of the Dale Perry cue) I have never heard of Dale Perry, never felt one, never seen one?
3) I want to stick with a Domestic made cue
4) I cant feel a huge difference yet in an 18-20 oz, Im sure I will the more time I put into it but not as of yet so I am open , i think in the mid 18 to 19 oz range is good
5) I do like the feel of the meucci cues that have the wrap finished just like the feel of a no wrap cue, although I am not bothered by linen or leather wraps, with that being said I would rather stay away from Meucci due to all the negative comments about QC
6) Of what I have looked at I have been very Impressed with McDermott, Viking and Joss

Thanks

re: cues

Thank you all for taking the time to send offers and suggestions, I went a bit out of my price range but found a great deal on a pair of new McDermotts.

Thanks again!
