Davenport had a high finish at the Reno open, looks like he is back to his old form following his eye injury. Was anyone there who saw him play, and can you comment on his game?

Yes, I watched Kim play..... I saw no difference in his game...the eye injury sure didn't affect his stroke or run-out ability....After one of his winning matches, I told him it was good to see him shooting again...I asked him how his eye was, and he sorta frowned; and said "I'm used to it now."... so maybe it's not the same eyesight, but I sure couldn't tell the difference in the way he was shooting.....looked like the same old Kim ....

That's great to hear. Kim is one of the greatest 9ball players of all time. I've got an accu-stats tape of him running 8 racks at the Sands in Reno in '91 against Ernesto Dominguez.

I just hope that he returns to turning stone casino for the upcoming Joss Event in August...that arena up there is absolutely great.........mike
