Loose shaft thread

Does anyone have any advice to "tighten" a shafts threads? I have a new cue that the shaft is very loose while screwing onto the pin and needs to be torqued fairly hard to keep from lossening up.

There was a thread not too long ago about using liquid car wax in the threads. I would do a search for it and see if you can find it because it seemed to work really well.

what thread is the pin? People have used CA and filled the hole with it, wait a few min and then dump it out completely. Let it dry and then you can re-tap the threads.

The pin is 3/8 x 10.
