Los Angeles pool room question....

I have basically been out of pool for quite a while, but remember an enjoyable day hanging out in an old-time pool room in Los Angeles circa 1993. I'm trying to recall the name of the room, I just remember parking on the side of the building and going down a flight of stairs to the check-in counter, with tables on both sides. Seems to me it wasn't too far from Sunset, but my memory is hazy. I do remember playing a guy name Ivan.

Was this room possibly Hollywood Billiards? Just wondering.

Yes. It is gone now since the earthquake of 1994. The new Hollywood Billiards is down the street a ways. Also a very nice room, but much more upscale.

I miss the basement
