LOS ANGELES/SFV: Handicapp 9 ball tournament in Simi Valley, CA

Hey Guys and Gals

I'm just helping my friend promote this tournament that he is running.

We are trying to get a weekly Wednesday night 9 ball tournament going. It's in its 4th week and needs to grow. right now we are averaging about 8 players. I know for most of LA, Wednesday night is league night, but for you guys who aren't in a league like myself, come on down to Billiard Plaza in Simi Valley for this tournament. They just recently refelted the GC's with 860.

Tournament is $15 for entry with no table time, double elimination. starts around 730-8pm. I know there are lots of players in the area, but they just dont know about this tourney. It would be nice to see this grow into something bigger since for us non-leaguers, there is nothing going on tournament-wise on Wednesdays. feel free to hit me up with any questions.
 
is you in or is you out?

Just went by there about 5 pm today [Wednesday] to check out the tournament and it's locked up tight. Sign says it should be open, [at 2:00 pm] but nobody's home. What's up?

I was there last night... only 4 guys including Brendan Crockett. We gotta promote this more... Saddlebow, bring some friends.. We'll be there again next wednesday. Tourney will start around 8.

i think it is... I know its on Tapo street just south of the 118. There is only 1 pool room in Simi Valley. Its not USPPA ratings, its more along the lines of Plush Pocket saturday tourney ratings. Panda is the tournament director, he's pretty much got the speed of most SFV players clocked. Either way, its a fun and friendly tournament. oh, and the pockets are anything but tight :wink:
