on friday at 5 pm i came home to realize my air conditioning wasnt working........:banghead:
the repairman at 7pm told me the compressor was fried and nothing could be done until some time this week ( ie i need to buy a new a/c unit...:()
i live in florida
my house gets up to 86 during the day
down to 80 overnight
very humid
i have my cues stored in sterling wave cases
i wont have a new air conditioner for a week:(
should i worry about warpage for the cues i own??

Our A/C unit quit working a few weeks back. The repairman told us we could buy a new compressor or a new unit. A whole new unit was just a little more than a compressor. I didn't have $3000 to drop on a new unit right then, so......I figured if it was fried anyway we could just beat on the compressor. We beat on it for about 5 minutes really hard and it's been working excellent ever since. It could go out tomorrow though.

As far as your cues I'm not going to be any help in that department......unless you want to pack them up and ship them to my house for safekeeping. I hope all turns out well for you.

thanks for your generous offer and good wishes.....;)
glad your air conditioning is working:thumbup:

Get small air conditioned storage unit, or find a pool hall that rents lockers, or hope for best....good luck.

I think you'll be fine. Also in Florida and never had a problem if they were stored upright.

If they never get above 86 and are in closed cases I doubt you will have any problems.

:thumbup:thanks for the replies
so far it hasnt gotten past 89 degrees at its peak
down to 80 at its "coolest"
should have airconditioning by friday...
