I had a customer that contracted 2 cues with Me. One was a full on cored custom for himself, and the other was for his wife. I was to use the green yellow veneer blank here to construct a conversion from. Well his wife is with child now, and while I'm still finishing the custom for him, his wife will not be playing any pool for a while, so I allowed him to opt out of the conversion. I was gonna use It to make a cue anyway, and sell it, but with the holidays upon us I can use the cash for the blank right now.
This particular blank is one of the nicest I had out of all of them that I had acquired. The wood is darker and far denser then any of the others. Not sure If It's the same wood or not, but I believe It's a dark dense rosewood of some type. It almost looks like ebony.
In this lot I'm including everything pictured. Measurements are rough estimates but should be very close to quoted.
(1) Green/yellow veneer f/s blank joint is roughly 0.900 and is 29-1/2 long
(1) orange/yellow/blue veneer f/s blank joint 0.887 29-1/2 long ( this blank has a few holes that look filled in the handle area, but a wrap on this cue would cover them. not quite as nice as the first blank but still very usable.)
(2) Early turn stage shafts. 1 of them is 19 gpi, and the other is only 10gpi, but both are clean, straight, and run very true in the lathe. they are 0.648 at the ferrule ends, and 30" long.
(1) 1.350x 19 long Birdseye dowel. I'm throwing this in to the deal in case the buyer wants to make a sleeve for one or both of these cues.
Although not bad in comparison to what I have seen, These blanks are not perfect, and are not made by a big name maker or 1 of them alone would easily cost more then this entire lot does, but I have made a few decent conversion cues from blanks just like these, and one source I know of was selling them for $95 a piece, although that source is now sold out. I have not seen any of these for sale in a while.
Like I mentioned I can use the extra money right now, SOLD plus the cost of shipping for the entire lot pictured here. That includes the shaft blanks and Birdseye blank.

I usually sell to the first person to PM me, and I stick by that, but in light of recent posts, and just so that there are no misconceptions, this time please post here first if you want them, then PM me. I just want a honest quick transaction. The same as any honest buyer.
