Not much to tell about that cue. It's a basic player and sells for $460 (one shaft) shipped. The joint and butt cap are made from aegis 2. Joint pin is a stainless steel 3/8-10 (modified).
With the economy the way it is I decided to build a group of very basic players at a great price. The cocobolo for that particular cue was very unique and sadly was my last piece from a board I bought four years ago.
I also wanted to thank everyone again for their support. I have been working hard this year to get a handle on my orders and everyone has been beyond patient with me. I am looking forward to the new year and having my waiting list down to less than six months.
That piece of wood didn't require any additions - it's really singularly interesting. You see a lot of interesting crotch wood, etc, coco w/ limited burled looks; but the wide, interlocking figure here is almost like foot long eyes & knots.
