Two weeks until the US Open One Pocket tournament, who's goin, who's showin'? I'll be there from Monday afternoon til Thursday at High noon...

You're talking about the BCA 9-ball, etc. National Championships, right? I downloaded the brochure but it didn't say anything about whether spectators could watch and if so what it would cost.

I'm also wondering if it's anything like the DCC where they have vendors in the halls, etc. It wouldn't stop me from coming if it didn't but I need to have my tip reworked...it's hard as a rock! I guess I could just go to Rack 66.

I would really like to go on Thursday night for the men's 9-ball finals but my husband has a test on Friday. I don't think we'd get much studying done! But I think we'll come one night.

I sent in my entry for the women's singles 9ball, so I will be there the 29-31...

You realize this is just an amatuer event, no pros..?

It doesn't say about the 9-ball, but the 10-ball, one-pocket, and banks tournaments looks like they're open to anyone, including pros. However, the low payout probably won't attract them.

I still think it would be fun to watch!
