Finally met Shawn this weekend at the BCA event in Louisville, KY. I gotta say, he's one of the nicest, most polite young gentlemen I've met in the pool world. It was a pleasure to sit around Woody's booth and BS with him for awhile.
I know Shawn won't be on here right now, I think he's on his way to the IPT in Nevada, but does anyone know how he did in the 1Pocket event. I left after 4 rounds of the 9-Ball (would liked to have stayed for the finals, but blew out in the 17-24 slot and had three more tournaments to play in Arkansas and Oklahoma, so we hit the road). When I left he was up 3-1 in a great match...
Also, watched some great one pocket played by Cliff Joyner, Mike Jarvis, Scott Frost, Glenn Rogers and MANY MANY more notables. Had a blast, just wish I could have stayed for the entire event.
Shawn... look forward to seeing you again. I'm going to be at a LOT more events than I've ever played in before, so our paths will cross again.
