Low Balling

Price is price. There is no such thing as low balling. Low offers are what makes the world go round. Sometimes a low price is mutually agreeable by both parties, sometimes not. It is part of buying, selling and establishing price. I would say a much more common issue is a seller sticking to a price which is too high. If you think a fairer offer is on the way, wait.

since we cant tell someone in the thread he has priced his cue too high a low ball offer gets the thing rolling. he doesnt have to respond to it if he doesnt want to. i tend not to low ball as it is a waste of time and someone that asks too way much isnt worth dealing with usually.

i think it is wrong not to be able to comment in for sale threads about the merchandise. i can do it at the store. this practice keeps people getting ripped off and isnt right. some people get taken as they are too nice and pay too much and some get ripped off because a seller may not have represented his product truthfully and we are not supposed to hurt his sale. so in effect we are protecting the thieves and then get mad when they get someone.

instead of killing off someone in the thread, u can always pm that person? it seems to me a better way. taking the issue private. it will seems less offensive
