Lower deflection solid maple shaft with Schon joint?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a lower deflection solid maple shaft, but definitely with a Schon joint? (not generic 5/16x14).

I really like the hit and feedback of the Schon shaft, but the deflection is epic. I have tried several laminated low deflection shafts, and they all hit too soft for me.

I'd be happy for a brand name shaft, McDermott and Tiger both do LD solid maple, they don't have Schon joints off the shelf, or a fully custom shaft if someone is making something special.

Alternatively, if anyone had a recommendation for a more modern cue (Radial, 3/8x10, etc) that hits similarly to a Schon I'd welcome it too.

Jacoby makes their Kielwood shafts with a Schon joint They also make their Ultra wood shafts in Schon joints. Both Kielwood and Ultra come in 11.8 mm, and 12.75 mm. I have their Ultra shafts for Schon in 12.75 MM that I have turned all down to 12.5 mm. Both versions seem to be low deflection with the Kilewood the lowest. I like both, but really like the Kielwood. It did take some modification from me to balance the way I wanted.
The shaft the way it came was about 3.5 oz, just too light for my balance wants so I added .3 oz at the joint area.
I forgot to mention I have a couple solid maple Schon shafts that I have turned down, One to 12 mm, and one to about 12.25 mm. I like the 12.25 mm the most, but the 12 mm one is lower deflection.
