LP Custom Cues New Website

In response to your message to me, I would rather buy my cues and cases from someone who actually contributes to the forum and doesn't spam it endlessly, then bump their spam threads. It is unfair to the business who actually support AZ by buying banner space. I'm all for members promoting their work, but I don't see Jack Justis, Tiger Products, JB Cases, or anyone else starting threads and bumping them every hour of every day... and these people actually participate on AZBilliards. BUY A BANNER ALREADY.

Not an exaggeration when I look up what threads you start and what posts you make. Support the forum you shamelessly promote on and buy a banner.
 
Just have to say as a realitive new coming here, the builders you mention do not need to promote their cues as the members all do it for them, they have a great following. There is not a day that goes by that I dont see mention of one of them

Hell dale perry, has gotten more PR here then anyone and most would say his cues are borderline.

Marissa, if it bothers you so much , then stop reading it. I mean you bump it each time you respond to it. Its not that big of a deal.

As for his cues I just received the Second one he ever made, and I have to say the quality on it i great, I can not wait till he finishs the one I have designed as well...

Then do what other members do and start your own thread to review his cues. Predator and Tiger Cues DO have banners, as well as many others. And they participate in the forum without spamming us with these constant self-promotional adverts.

LP, at least participate in the forum like everyone else does.

I do participate, I am sorry that I am not a season pro like so many other here are or one of the other that WANT to seem like a expert in pool. I do what I can, I post more then some and less then others, Some either get more from reading, others I am sure have f/t jobs and a life outside the forum. Others Live to just seem important online...

Take what you need, leave the rest...

Predator and Tiger cues? Yes they have a banner, they are well established companies with a huge following, Lee is not yet. I a perfect world, we would all buy a banner and be done with it.

I dont see you complaining about the companies and services that are offered in many people sigs? (heck your own sig is blantly doing it) And you shouldnt, if the admins find a problem with it I am sure they will say something to him. Untill then, let it go, you will be a lot happier once you find out that not eveything in the world revolves around your or affects you personally.

OH and you can give me Neg rep if it will make you feel better about yourself, as it will have no affect on my life, or place here as it is obvious I am not in one of the IN clique's and most likely will never be and that fine.

It seems that there are to many Chief's and not enough Indian's around here. Instead of offering constructive critizism, they are all to fast to condem.

Its seems I cant do anything right to please you.
I sent a PM basically saying you were correct and I would stop bumping the website thread.

My goal when I started posting on here was to make a few people happy by supplying them with quality cues at an extremely low price.
This is just a hobby for me, I love making cues.

I dont make very much money doing this, but I enjoy the feedback of satisfied customers.

I have sold my cues to many of the members and have yet to see any reviews, thats not my fault.

Your post contradicts what you said in your PM. You said this is what you do for a living and your sole income.

Also I thought the guy who built your website just received the second cue that you built.

I don't recall ever even addressing you. I was getting annoyed with all of Lee's bumps. Every time I open a thread, he's bumping it for no reason.

Your reasoning for buying advertisement makes no sense. If Tiger and Predator have such a huge following, they wouldn't need to advertise. So if Lee needs business so bad, like I said, he should buy a banner.

And as an active forum member, I'm allowed to have those in my signature. These people actually participate in the forum.

At no time did I say building cues was my sole income, I am a union machinist by trade, you need to read my PM again.

He did receive the cue yesterday, but hasnt shot with it yet.

If he wants to leave a review of the cue, thats up to him, I cant make people leave reviews.

I gave LP a negative rep because when I (and another member) first informed him about his excessive bumps, he gave us both smart answers 'I didn't know there was a bump limit' so he knows he was being annoying and kept doing it.

I've nothing against you and have only given you helpful posts regarding the content for the site you built.

Also, reps mean nothing. Here or in real life.

If he received the second cue you ever made yesterday, how have you made so many cues for other members here? Whatever.

Advice: Some cue and casemakers will start a thread sharing what they just built for a member. Do that instead and include some pictures of the cue. People will then see what you can do.

I built the cue you mentioned for my girlfriend when I first started.

I am now building her another cue and she asked me to sell the old one.

Thats the story...........

I can give you a list of people that bump their own threads way more times and guess what I never saw you picking on them. :rolleyes:
Anyway, Jim Lee makes a great hitting cue and he has now a site that gives him more exposure to his work so he can sell more cues.

I don't bump threads at least twice a day. I tried to give him helpful advice and he got smart with me. Same thing happened with another member when he said something about his countless bumps and he gave him a smart aleck answer to him as well. I started out being nothing but helpful including proofing his entire site. I addressed him in a PM with some, hopefully, helpful advise.
