In the market for a black collar 314-2 with radial pin to replace a worn shaft. Let me know if you have one. Only interested in like new condition. This is for a collector cue and needs the black collar.

Not looking to burst your bubble or anything, just have a simple question.
Since as you say, this shaft is going on a collector cue, why wouldn't the
owner of said cue just go ahead and buy a new shaft and be done with it?
That is by no means an expensive shaft and you'd be buying brand-new.
I suppose there would be some excitement in waiting to see what you get
on the secondary market but there could also be some grave disappointment.
Buying new is a safe bet.
Within 30 days you don't like it, send it back for a full refund.
What's to lose?

Was thinking that myself just today. Thanks for your honest opinion. Probably what I will do.

One point to consider that I neglected to state in my earlier post is that of warranty.
When purchasing new, you are the original owner. Register the shaft when you buy it,
save your purchase receipt and your shaft is warranted for life. No muss, no fuss.
Purchase a shaft on the secondary market that someone is trying to 'get rid of'
and you're pretty much stuck with what you get, ie, no guarantee, no warranty.
If your equipment means something to you, your investment is worth protecting.
