Where did you get the foot switch and what kind of motor mount setup do you have ( bracket especially)

The mount is from a 3/8" thick aluminum plate for a router mount I never used. Then some 8020 tee slot stuff for a fully adjustable mount. Just use the bracket they supply as a template for the motor bolt pattern.
