I have a McDermott M89A, which I am willing to sell. I bought the M99A, M89A, and M79A, which were all very, very hard to find. I have used the cue once and then it was going to sit as a collector's item. It is in new condition, but I chalked it and played a friend a race to 5 with it, so it has seen 4 games. When the cue was sent to me, the certificate of authenticity got slightly damaged, as it was packed with the cue. The cue was purchased from Pennsylvania, USA. After trying it once the cue went straight into a case and it has not left it. It comes with an intimidator 2 shaft, with a green shamrock on it, which perfectly matches the cue. I would sell it for $800US plus $30US shipping and handling. This is non-negotiable, a new tip or some light sanding for only 4 games and it is new. I take mint care of my stuff, especially cues.. I am taking a big loss, because I did use it once and the certificate came slightly damaged. For a $300US savings, you would get a sick deal. I would send it in a 1x1 case to protect it. I ship all cues by USPS priority shipping and it is non-refundable. I saw your ad, so I am offering it to you first, then it will be put on ebay for a bid war. Contact me at
robcochranemail@yahoo.ca if you are serious about buying it. I take only paypal, but I am not a dealer, just a huge pool and cue fan. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada so the shipping time would be about 5-6 business days to the US. I went on a mission to buy these three cues as my personal collection only to realize after I just spent well over $3000 for 3 cues. This is too much money for a once a week pool player to own as beautiful as all three cues are. You could easily turn around and sell it for a profit whenever you wanted. Like I said, I am not a dealer, or rich collector, I just wanted these three cues bad. The M89A is my favorite of the three, but I need to start saving for a car, so I must sacrifice what others want to do it. Spending over $3000 on cues was just too impulsive no matter how stunning it is, or how much I could sell it for in the future. Sincerely, Rob. When I referred to light sanding above I was talking about removing the chalk off the tip. The whole cue is mint.
