LUAT & FOLDES ROUND 3- PUZZLED (group 67)

FOLDES has a higher per centage for matches won & higher percentage of games won.
Foldes also has a higher score in this match against Luat.

So why does Luat advance to Round 4 & Foldes is out of the tournament?

I know I must be missing something.

It's a flaw in the way the IPT updates the winning percentages. Not only do they update the winning percentages for the current round scoresheet, but it updates it for all the previous round scoresheets.

So what you're looking at in the round 3 scoresheet is Luat's winning percentage as it stands right now (after round 4). Obviously, Luat's percentage was higher yesterday and it went down through the course of today.

The IPT better fix this glitch. It has caused too much confusion the way it is. For past scoresheets, they should just leave the percentages the way they were when that round concluded.
