Wow, looking at the brackets there are some lopsided scores going on down there! Anyone have any first hand info on the tourney? Are they running 150 and out? Guys are getting beat 150-0 , 150-2 , etc..etc..Shane and Corey both forfeit out in the final round of 16, article says they were late.

I've played on the Olhausen tables at Bank Shots many times - they are not the tightest pockets in the world, so you are going to see some guys running big numbers - I'm not saying that the equipment is weak, I am just saying that conditions are perfect for some nice runs - and I hear that some of the players have 140 and 150 ball runs - too bad that none of it is on tape.

"Ben Hogan didn't have the prettiest swing in the world, but Ben Hogan knew his game better than anyone else knew theirs." - Harvey Penick

This is a nice statement and certainly applies to all games, even though I actually think he did have the prettiest swing in the world. After many years of being wooed by the syrupy swings, I studied Hogan's in depth. And it was only after learning from his that I became a real ball striker. He had a fast swing, so rarely would anyone describe it as pretty. But in slow motion, it's the prettiest, most efficient and most accurate...at least in my opinion.
