What is the weight on the Hybrid ? Its got a pie shaft also, I'd imagine. I'm interested in the shaft, but just curious. Are you looking for something else or just getting out?

19 oz, and yes it has the hybrid pie shaft, hits great, im looking to buy a new case thats why im selling it.
 
Time to convince the wife that this is in my best interest. I have been keeping an eye out for one of these for a while, but the wife isn't keen on me spending the MSRP. With my back injury and the pills I'm on, I need something with a soft grip but one that can tolerate my palms getting sweaty. Expect some PM's to begin soon.
 
I just bought a shaft from ballbreaker and it was exactly like he said it was and shipped very fast, if this smartshaft was 3/8 10 it would be headed my way.--Leonard

If they didn't epoxy the insert in, it should come out fine. When I put my insert into a new shaft, I just screwed it in. It has no problems staying put!

I own the smart shaft at issue. Unless Rob's got another one. I know that Billy Stroud recommends glueing them, but I've never had a problem either. The LD ferrules may crack, but atlas has the titan ferrule material for replacement. BTW, the Luc Hybrid is one fine stick. I love the grip.
