I just bought a lucasi hybrid cue and I think this cue is amazing! Just wondering if anyone else has bought this cue and would like to know what you think of it.

i saw these things at the Billiard Factory in Henderson, NV yesterday and just kind of looked at them in question. I really dont know what to think about them...to me it seems like some kind of a flash gimic but I probably shouldn't say much since i haven't hit with one. The way the talk on the website makes it sound like gods gift to deflection but i seriously doubt that. I've shot with some mid level lucasi's before and they seem to shoot alright - nothing real sh*tty, but nothing to write home to your mother about. I liked it better once the shaft was turned down to an 11.5mm tho too.

i'm gonna call marketing gimic on this one ...

oooooh, high-tech

:D huh, they put a Lamkin dual density torsion control golf grip on a pool cue...LOL What's next??? Nano-tube carbon fiber reinforced, laser spliced, cryo-treated, square - maximum moment of interia, $1000 shafts???

leather grip....no comparison

this is much better feeling then a leather grip! Try one! Then get back with me about your torsion @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ comment.

who says I'm knocking it??? All the discriptions I listed above were technologies that I've had in one driver/shaft combo or another one time or another......yes, really - ok, maybe not the spliced part. The grip is VERY similar to the golf grip I mentioned though....

comes in MANY color combinations. :D

Improve your game by 50 percent??

Deflection has a big part in missing! That percentage is hard to believe!!! Try one and let me know if your shot making is a little easier! You may be suprised.

BTW, I like Golf Pride's multicompond Decade grip better, so get back to me when Lucasi puts one of those on a cue......

LOL ...I guess you won't be

trying one of these cues out!!! Down the road if you ever get a chance to hit with one of these....you may say maybe I should have tried one of these when the fellow on AZ was talking this cue up. Maybe I should have bought one of these sooner then later. Good luck with your golf game!!! LOL

wasn't trying to bust your chops - the grip got me though....

Probably more than I'd like to spend on a cue anyway, cuz daddy needs a new putter and maybe some new wedges for the upcoming season :) LOL

I am not the only one

that likes these cues....here are a couple of other posts from AZers

theres a dude in my league that has one of those.........He swears by it......... Ugly as sin.................Lost most to all Lucasi POS!!!!!!

My friend has one if these cues and prefers to play with it over several custom cues he owns. He's a strong player and just likes the feel of the cue. I hit a few balls with it and to my surprise it felt pretty good. It's not nothing to look at it...but if it works...go for it.

I guess I am the third one that likes it too.

I think the problem with gimmicks with pool cues in the past is that they didn't use enough of them, maybe just the shaft or something that didn't really help like graphite. But this maybe the real deal. Id like to try one out, looks like it might work.
