Lucasi Oddity?

Several years ago I bought a Lucasi cue online, it is an awesome stick.
It is marked "707" on the butt opposite the old style Lucasi logo.
I have been trying off an on for months to find out more about this cue but not even Google has been any help.
I would be thankful if anyone could shed a little light on this...

Looks to be an LD-2 if the forearm is maple with no points.
They also put some Roman numerals on their early cues. Not sure why there were any numbering put on them,,, not much help.

It is has a rock maple shaft with no points, and birdseye maple butt with what was called a black Egyptian linen wrap.

What he said, is either LD-2 or LZD2. all depends on rings and forearm...Lucasi tried to mark their cues with numbers that represents the date (semester, year, month...ect) when the line was produced. I am not sure of this but I believe I read this explanation around here ...somewhere.

Hope this helped.

The numbers are to track when the cue was made. Cues are a great value. Prices continue to go up almost every year since their initial offering. I have a vintage and rare model collection. Enjoy playing them occasionally.

As far as I know 707 means July 2007, so the cue was finished in July 2007. You could search through earlier posts, but I am pretty sure that that is the answer. I did some effort to find it out myself some time ago.
