Lucasi Zero Flex Hybrid and Custom?

I just bought a Lucasi LZD6 - 12.75mm Zero Flexpoint Shaft - 2013 Model off ebay. Now I was trying to research if there is a difference between the Hybrid Zero flex and the Custom Zero flex shafts. Not a whole lot of information out there about luscasi zero flex accept for the hybrid.

Anyone know if there is a difference between the 2 and if so what is the difference?

Thanks in advance.

the hybrid is a laminated shaft and the custom is a one piece maple, that is the main difference. the front end ferrule/tenon design is the same, and the deflection should be the same between the two. lucasi's design does lower deflection some, but it's not near the level of a predator, ob, etc. the custom also has a new taper that thorsten hohmann apparently helped design, but i've not tried it, so i can't say how different it is than the hybrid.

They have zero info on the custom zero flex shafts there. It's just the old custom regular shafts and the hybrid shafts there.

That's what i was thinking by the picture since you could see the grain carry around the shaft but wasn't sure if laminated shafts used the same piece of lumber for all pie shaped pieces.

Thanks for the response. I will post when I get the cue and try it.
