I believe that roman numerals were only used on Lucasi cues mostly through the 90's, then soon after they went uni-loc joint they started to move away from the roman numerals. You can find a few Lucasi cues with uni-loc joints stamped with roman numerals, but not many. As for sharp points, several product cue companies make cues with sharp points. It's just that the points aren't that even most of the time. Lucasi makes some cues with sharp points even right now. As for Lucasi making cues in the 90's with sharp points, I don't have a definitive on whether they did or they didn't. I have two fancy Lucasi cues from the 90's that are CNC points, would have been nice if they were sharp.
