Any of you Phoenix metro players try out the Lucky Break - opened in Dec 04 near B-1 Ballpark and the Convention Center? Saw some pictures - looks upscale but wondered if any players have checked out the tables. If so, what do you think?

Bank One Ballpark (CHASE BANK) is right next to where all the Homeless, Drug Addicts, Hookers, seem to hang out in PHX. :(

Downtown Phoenix is A LOT nicer than some other "downtown" areas. :)

Jack: I haven't been there, but Meiko has. Unfortunately, I can't remember what she said about it, so her report must not have been too memorable. ;) I know that Al Rossi was affiliated with the room in some capacity...maybe running it? I don't think it's a players room at all though.

Merylane (by the way pm me - I can't place you and probably want to talk about old times and the g-8 b)

To answer your question, Rudy died about 6 years ago in LA.

Heh Jimmy,
Thanks for the information. I was told some one by the name of Steve is running it - maybe just an assistant to Al. If you see Al tell him hi for me. Al is a very busy guy.

No I haven't been there, but .... I did get my new Inside Pool Magazine today! Great article about you, Jack, in the "Cuemaker's Corner", written by Fred Agnir! Congratulations!
I think you'll find the exposure a great asset! I did when they ran the article about my shop a few months back.

just more hot air!

Thank you. I got mine today - read it right in the middle of the hay field along with the cows (driveway runs through the pasture).

No. You know he just didn't take very good care of himself. I think that was what did him in. Heh, he was a character but I liked him. And I have rethought the pm --- did you and Kenny talk earlier this year? - I talked to him in Jan or Feb.
