This raises a good question.

Say the airline loses your $150 setup. Can you just claim it was your $2,000 rig? You have proof of purchase of your custom rig and they have proof that you lost something...... right??

I think they have a limit to what they pay out not matter what you lost. I'm sure people claim things lost that were not actually there, or over-state the cost.

A friend of mine had his cues stolen and he had to provide receipts for the airline.
They paid him face value but it took about 3 months. They said they had to wait to see if the cues ever were found.
I would like to take every precaution to prevent my cues from a would be thief getting them.

I bought this 2 years ago when traveling to Hawaii for the APA Aloha Challenge, and it's also been with me on a half dozen other plane rides; it has enough space to carry a 2x4 Action case, 3x5 custom JB case, 4 pair of shoes, and all the clothes you can think of... I've used it for other non-pool trips too
