Can anyone tell me what tip the Mace J/B comes with, and do you have a recommendation for a (non-phenolic) replacement? Thanks.

I don't know what the Mace J/B uses, but you could always EMAIL RICK and ask him.

A great non-phenolic tip is the Joe Picone "White Diamond" tips. You can get them cheap on ebay.

I ordered mine with a water buffalo tip. I believe Rick also make a composite leather/phenolic resin. For me, the water buffalo works great.

I see you can get Schon tips from Seyberts now. Those things are like rocks and I bet they break well.

Recommend the Mace if you're thinking of buying.

He used the old brown water buffalo as far as I know in the original.
