Madden Cue

I've been playing with my Madden since 2007. Jack made it especially for me and I really can't imagine playing with anything else. IMHO his cues play wonderfully. Here are a few pics of my cue. Jack Madden Cross Cue

I'd imagine you see so few for sale it that their owners are happy with them. Like you, wouldn't play with anything else.
I getting the impression that there are collectors cues, and then there are nice cues made for the player to do well with.
I'm sure some collectors cues play well...but maybe not all do?

Players hold them
Had a Purple Heart SP player a few years ago that was very well made. The shaft wood old, excellent tight grain and unreal. Nice stiff taper and hit. I was leaning towards to longer tapers at the time and sold it. Looking back, should have just had it re-tapered. Players just tend to keep them and he's never built that many annually.
The few times I spoke with Jack he was a true un-rushed gentlemen and true craftsman. I will have another one someday.

Thank you, the cue plays so well I'd never trade, sell or quit using it. Having said that, over the years I have given a few cues a shot but always went back to my Madden. I plan to shoot with it until I can no longer hold a cue.

Well it's been nearly 10 years and Jack and I are friends so I probably paid less than the average buyer. I also promoted his cues only because I valued them so highly. I don't remember exactly but probably somewhere around 1500 or so. It's worth much more than that to me.
