Does anyone have any experience with Maestri tips? I noticed on Ebay Nielsen's billiards supply is claiming them to probably be the best tips available.

these tips come on the new "Zero Flexpoint" shaft on Lucasi Hybrid cues. they are available as singles in soft, medium, and hard.

I bought some from Cue & Case Sales and have yet to try them.

other than that, I know nothing about them.

d_flash...never replaces a tip unless it's worn out!

In my experience with them...

they were horrible tips. I bought some from Nielsen ( Great seller ) but these tips in my opinion are horrible. They start to peel off layer by layer and dont take machining too well. The glue that lamintes the layers together is the problem. They are great tips starting out, but then they peel off. I tried 2, both with the same results. Never again am I getting these tips

I appreciate the feedback. I ended up trying two tips for my new Cognoscenti cue; An Everest tip which I am familiar with and a new demo tip that is made by Aramith. Check out their website http://www.saluc.com/html/billiard/index.php?idlien=39
The guy at Nielsen's billiards who I bought them from only had two Aramith's left and wasn't sure when Aramith is going to have them available for good. He said they were the best tip he has tried yet and he has tried all of them. I also pre-ordered the new Kamui Black tip, that looks interesting.
