Magic Ball Rack - Black Edition question

I ordered a 9/10-Ball template from Seybert's, but it looks like I received two in the mail.

I've read that there's a "film" that covers it to protect it when it is shipped, but both pieces look identical and I don't see any green tint anywhere. Tried peeling something off but had no luck

Anyone with a black Magic Ball Rack that can attest to this?

Dear Evan,


There is only a single layer of film is on the side with the logo facing up.

Take a piece of sellotape and stick it on that side, rubb it in and make sure it has stuck well.

then with a quick ripping motion pull off the tape. You might need to do this a couple of time but you will start to see a blue backing sheet lift off the rack.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but is there any difference between the black and clear edition?

The color has been changed and also the level of tolerance has been increased. Meaning the rack will rack tighter
