I personally don't see anything wrong with it and it does exist for a few years now. Most other sport that now enjoys stratospheric popularity are available for gambling bet placements in casinos, online betting outfits/stations or just the corner bookie.
But I'd like to get opinion from you guys on what you think about:
1. Mainstream Gambling and Pool
2. Pool Association leaders owning and operating these online gaming outfits.
Personally, I think it will help popularize the sport as it did for tennis, golf, etc. But I do disagree with having Association leaders owning and operating these betting outfits. Players will be led by their noses or with dangled carrots and this I find wll only hurt the sport.
Why will these Associations want such control?
1. To guarantee top-rank participation in their events.
2. Control the outcome to maximize profits for their gaming outfit?
