*** Best offer for combo or cue or case separately***
Y’all bid somethin’…
I've added a 2 X 4 Joe Porper black and grey case to this cue as a sweetner (condition is used). Let me know if you have any questions.
This is an excellent player with ebony Hoppe style rings that was made by Kaisan cues (Greg Wilson of Steepleton's in Lexington, KY - Kaisan is in the blue book of cues if you're interested - here's a link with contact info: http://www.onthecheese.com/otc/cues/index.html#kentucky). He makes about a dozen or less cues nowadays, so they are rare.
As you can see, it has a georgeous birdeye grip, east india rosewood forarm, phenolic buttcap and joint collars and a matching custom joint cap. It has one shaft that it is brand new, however it has been test hit. The shaft taper is a "bender style" taper, which is all I ever use nowadays (much better than the standard pro taper IMO). The tip is a brand new Triangle.
Here's some more details about this CUSTOM cue :
Firstly, the entire cue weighs 19.6 oz.. The butt weight 15.5 oz and the shaft weights 4.1 oz.. The pin is an Acme thread 3/16" titanium pin (the pin has been branded "Kaisen" on the tip of the pin when viewed from above). About the weight and balance: Greg does not used removable weight bolts in any of his cues, so as to avoid creating a butt heavy cue and in order to achieve a proper balance point. He has added the weight in the forearm of the butt, which is where it balances. The result really is excellent balance and playability.
Though the cue is not signed, the pin is engraved with the word "Kaisen", which is how Greg brands all of his cues. The pin itself is the same specs that are typical of Cognoscenti custom cues.
This cue rolls straight as an arrow and plays great and has only one small crack in the finish that you can not see in the pictures (though too small to see, I want full disclosure about everything I sell).
