Who needs CNC tapering?:)

I would give alot for that doweling machine.

You are right about that Dale.
No close up of it turned off. For sure it will not pass work safety standards these days. I have not given the tapering devices much thought yet. But thinking away in my spare time.

Tapering

Very cool video for sure, the way things were done back in a day. I liked that hand tool , wonder how that was made . Might work for turning down a shaft today. Thanks for sharing the video👍

1939

Being born in 1937 I have a deep appreciation of the "old" ways of doing things
although I do love CNC and DCC. Them old "buggers" where awful darn smart.
God bless them.

Looks to me like the love child of an 19th century hand plane and a 20th century linen press:)
