I have old Mali cue. I like it a lot. Nice craftsmanship. But I never see anyone else with one, nor do I ever here them talked about. How come? Did they go out of business or get bought?

An old teammate shot with a mali cue, nothing fancy, wasnt to old, about 6 years from now I guess.

My freind has a Mali, very nice feel & hit. We went over to Robertson Billiard supply in Tampa in 1987 and i got him a discount on it. He still has it. :) Don't know much about the company. I think they made cloth at one time? could be wrong. :)

The Mali company was at one point out of Massachusetts. So, a lot of players in the northeast may have gotten their start with a Mali. I did.

I believe they either went out of business, or the brand was bought out by a far east company. Regardless, Mali cues are being made again and hopefully will make a comeback.

Old Mali Cue

I live up here in the Northwoods. You come across a Mali from time to time up here.....I think they are still importing cues!?

If you know anyone who is looking for a Mali -- I have this 4 point Ebony Mali available -- it's 20+ years old -- $100 obo ;)

Mali is the second oldest billiard cloth manufacturing (learned from Simonis) company I think. My understanding is they used to have a line of very good cues made in house but the cuemaker retired. Think they went without selling cues for a while then began importing some cues called Mali Vintage, later Vintage, currently I don't know if Mali is involved with the Vintage line or not.
