Thank you for the recognition. It was my pleasure. That is a really nice collection of Mali cues. I regret selling many of the old Mali's I've had over the years.
Thank you for posting them for us to see and enjoy. I hope you've inspired others to join in!
They play better than I do. Several of them are as good as anything I've played, ever. How do they play?
Love these old Mali cues what my grandpa used to play with
How are you sure the cues with eagles are Mali cues?
Great find. I have one of those cues and talked to someone who had a bunch of Palmer cue parts and the eagles were some of them. And they swore Palmer built those cues. But it looks like they may have supplied Mali with parts.
Post some pictures if you don't mind. I have never ever seen a Palmer with an eagle like Mali used. I think someone was just guessing as to whom they thought may have made it. I don't think Mali ever bought parts from Palmer and since Palmer had no eagle cues it seems very unlikely that Mali was buying there eagles from them or any other cue maker. they were not always marked, but they were catalog cues. so there is no doubt as to who made them.Great find. That brings me to a kind of funny question. I have bought lots of parts from the guy that bought out Palmer when they went out of business over the years. Some of it was certainly Palmer and Palmer only stuff. For example the Palmer originals foil I purchased. No doubt about that one. The funny thing is that I have purchased many things over the years from thier old stock because one guy or another bought them out when they closed. My guess is a lot of people went to the same auction. I don't know, but it's another reason to be pissed at the fool who kicked Tate off of here. The bigger question is I suppose, how did they actually for real dispose of the inventory they had left? A lot of folks "bought them out"Mine has no name or sticker on it. It was Wayne Gunn who said he and his partner had bought out the old Palmer shop and those parts were part of the deal. But pictures of the brochure prove Mali produced at least some of
