Here are a few pics of the March 2009 Danny Tibbitts that was for sale at the SBE. Lucky for me the bids did not get above my budget. Danny wanted me to thank everyone who showed interest in the cue.

Tibbitts Cue

Very nicely done cue.

Congrats.

You should post some close-up photos of the veneers and points.
How many veneers on the cue?

Danny makes a nice cue. How long has he been making cues and what # is this one??.

Tommy,

He has making cues for 24 years and this one is number Ninety Something. I know he is getting very close to 100. He has been working on the forearm for the special #100. I will be the proud owner of number 100. I actually made the deal for the 100th cue in 1992. 17 year wait and I am sure it will be well worth it.

The cue is a four veneer cue. The veneers are Birdseye Maple, Mahogany, Birdseye Maple, and Mahogany. The characteristics of the natural veneers make it difficult to get a good picture. Here is a close up.

Getting a Tibbitts soon and looking through older threads.

I have to say, from what I've seen this is my most favorite cue he's made that's on this site.

Love that buttsleeve.

I wish someone would post pictures of one of the Ebony cues with Ivory collums and vases, with the gold vine work he did back in the late 80s or early 90s.
Those cues were mind blowing considering the equipment he had at the time.
Danny has always done great work.
