i have a mariposa. this is a beautiful pool cue. the cue has two butterfly points with five veneers, two of which are checkerboards. the wrap is pork skin stack. i either want to have this cue refurbished or sold. i dont know the wood involved because he used random stuff, i believe there is zircote but not sure. any cue maker/repair artist please call me(312)545-7011. this cue could be for sale or trade for the right price. either way it needs some help, but not to much. pics wouldve been included but my ability and time is stretched right now. this is a side project since i dont play much right now, and i have other cues and concerns (baby). plz post or call i am old fashioned. thanx all

I tried calling but will try again by 10am. I probably live near enough to see the cue depending on price and condition. I am very interested in the cue. Thanks, Deacon any pics would be appreciated conslr101@cs.com

pm send please check

2 things to add; the finish on this cue is original. so i would need to be redone. he used eco-friendly woods and glues so time has taken toll. therefore the joint pin also needs to be reset. neither the pin or refinish would be costly and something will be doing if i dont sell or trade. pics i will take right now but i am not good with a cpu so how to put them up?

I'll be happy to upload them for you but your email didn't arrive with any attachments.

everyone wants to know how much? i dont know. this cue needs some work but is rare and beautiful(in my opinion). i talked to kyle today and he cant fix it at this time. somebody offered 450 i would rather keep it and wait at that price. yet i am curious what others think the value is. i also wonder if anyone knows if there is somebody out there doing water based finishes. i think if refinished it should be done the way kyle did things. again my opinion. pm me or post

I had one a lot nicer...

I had a Mariposa a lot nicer than this one and the pin broke.....I had it replaced, but the hit just wasn't for me....I paid $500 for mine and it was in perfect condition before I broke the pin. It also had more color in the vener's and ring work above and below the joint....and around the butt cap.....If someone offered you $450 for it take the money and run....
