heading east to St. Louis this coming weekend. taking a lesson from Mark Wilson this sunday. hope all goes well, its alot of $$$ considering the hotel and gas bill. but hopefully he can improve my game. things are slowly rounding back into shape, ran some racks yesterday, a couple of them i even surprised myself.

Hopefully the lesson will be worth it. Let us know how it goes (I'm thinking you'll be back gauging your game on how well you can deliver a good stroke, rather than on how often you can run racks of 9-ball). Good luck.
 
anybody know of a cheap hotel about an hour east of St. Louis on Interstate 64?

i am gonna drive over saturday night, get a hotel, and then start with him early sunday morning so i can get home in time to watch the Colts game on ESPN.

What's cheap? The places that where near where I stayed looked to be in the 40 dollar range in Collinsville.
 
:eek: If your able to run racks now and then I am sure you are very good. I can run a rack occasionally but, not consistantly. I am sure Mark will check this out and plan a lesson or program for you. Mark is one of the best! A motel for around 40.00 a night is about par for the area.. don't get too cheap or your car might not be there when you wake up! :D
 
I am really glad to see that you are going, I think you will be glad that you went. Just keep an open mind, and be prepared for a bit of an adjustment in your game for a week or two.

Let us know how it goes, and tell Mark I said hi and I am happy with my progress.

You really should stay in collinsville. Marks pool room "the bull pen" is located about 5 mins from the collinsville exit. They have a nice motel 6 there for about 40 bucks.
Mark used to have some sunday tournaments. You may want to stick around and compete if he's still having them.
