I love watching all the money games on YouTube coming from the open air pool halls in the Phillipines on mediocre tables with dogs barking and chickens crowing and all the crowds pushing around the table. Kinda like the gambling pits at the Expo. But why does the referee sometimes during the course of someone's turn at the table mark both sides of some balls with chalk?

I think he does it when the player is cuing close to a ball and may nudge it. They only play cue ball fouls so they will be able to move the ball back to where it should be. I'm not positive about this and if I'm wrong I'm sure we'll be able to rely on another forum member to straighten us both out. 
Oh, and Bogey ... I absolutely love the roosters crowing in the background. Nobody even flinches with all the mayhem about.
