I guess my situation is sort of the opposite of everyones... I play pool while my future husband doesn't..
We met in high school when we were 15 years old almost 13 years ago and have been pretty much attached at the hip ever since. We both played pool at the local arcade once in a while while growing up. Once I turned 18 I started hanging around the local pool hall and started playing alot more. Eventually it led to playing in the local leagues and tournaments. My finance did play in the league one year, and I even dragged him out to a small scotch doubles tournament, but other than that he plays 3-4 times a year and thats it.
A year or two ago I started getting more serious about the game and started playing pool 5-6 nights a week at the local pool hall, mostly alone. I also started to travel a bit more. although I only went 2-5 hours away from home, often times I had to travel alone and spent a few nights in a hotel and due to his work schedule he could not come with me.
Not once has he ever tried to stop me. He is always encouraging me, supporting me and pushing me when I start to get discouraged. He knows my dream is to one day make it to the WPBA so he bought me a pool table a month ago...

How could I ask for anything better.
