I asked Mason to make me a extra shaft for my cue. Sent him the spec's from current shaft as far as dia, and how thick the rings were. He matched the shaft beautifully. Didn't have him duplicate the shaft taper, instead using his own.

Shaft plays great, very very close to my sugartree shaft in how it plays. Little softer hit, but I honestly think that has more to do with the tips being different. Have no hesitation or worry about switching out shafts if I need to for some reason.

Mason's work is very good, and his cues and shafts play wonderfully.
 
i love his work, only thing is that i'd love to see progress pics, haven't seen em in a long time.
 
thanks guys.i have about 5 cues that are painted and ready to be wet sanded and polished.they will be posted in the gallery soon.it's been a weird year for me and i really didn't get to work much at all.i think i only made about 10 cues this year.where i usually shoot for 30-35.
