Massachusetts Cuemakers

Found some more time tonight to thumb thru another third of the Blue Book...decided to take a break at Szamboti. I didn't come across anymore Massachusetts based cue makers other than some notes about production cue companies Mali and Cuesport being based here.

I did come across a few more New England based guys...not sure if they are still in the biz:

Don Doyon - ME
Tom Harris - CT

Seems at some point Murrell was in RI and Samsara was in NH but they have since relocated elsewhere.

Man this book can be a choir to handle with it's weight and all...but it is worth it to read through some of the stories in the book. The Burton Spain bio was kinda cool to discover.

Ken Murrell relocated to Florida, He's a great guy and builds a very fine cue.

Thanks for the Murrell info Mike, I've only heard good things about his stuff as well.

I went thru the rest of the Blue Book this evening and didn't find anymore Massachusetts makers or any in other parts of New England so this looks like the complete list for now, but hopefully we will see some additions in the future.

I'm working with Lee Peppers right now on 3-4 cues but I hope to support some of the local talent after I finish up what I started with Lee. 60" custom, Dufferin conversion, break stick are all in progress...then a Bushka tribute later this year based on the 60" custom.

Next on the list, in no particular order:
-Webb...just something catches my eye about his work and locals rave about the playability
-Zinzola...love the details of his work, great color combos in the points, spectacular ringwork
-Callaluca...the butterfly work he shared with me was quite impressive

Webb or Callaluca. You would probably be better off calling them rather than waiting for e-mail or PM responses.
