Masse Production Cue

I'm thinking of buying one of these and I don't want a custom because I'm just going to be messing around with it on my home table mostly. Does anyone know of a good production version?

Buy a J&J jump/break and put a hard leather tip on it.

The only production Masse cue you will find, being advertised, is the Mezz Florian Kohler model Masse cue. Given that you are "just messing around," I don't think you will like the price tag.

There are also some short "masse shafts" on fleabay.
