Since i hate repeating what i have to say.

ALTHOUGH, it is kind of strange.
One of the things that i did notice when a bad batch of chalk would come around, was how unbelievably DIRTY the tables would get if it was the large grained type.

A couple of years ago, there was a controversy in the pool room, as to whether the cleaning guys were doing their job or not. That stemmed from the fact that no one could understand how if they cleaned the tables the way they normally do, how a table could be FILTHY by later on in the night.
The tables see a lot of play, but not enough to get the tables as dirty as they were becoming.
So back then, i thought it was the chalk, just based on my experience, and i had some who agreed, and some who didn't for whatever reasons.

So i never thought about it cause the problem eventually stopped, till the other thread about chalk popped up. So since i don't go into the pool room that often anymore, i was surprised to see, that when i went to hit balls the other day, that the table played about a foot and a half slower than normal, was filthy, and when i was done, my bridge hand was basically blue after about a half hour.
Since i play with my own piece of chalk, i didn't think about it, but then i went over and got a piece of the house chalk, and wouldn't you know it, it was the large grained stuff that falls apart too easy.

So when i asked, apparently EVERYONE has been complaining about the tables being dirty, and it's just like back in the day when the tables were disgusting.

So then i pop back on here, and see yet ANOTHER thread about chalk.

Just seems funny that 2 threads about chalk pop up, and then i discover the batch where i play out of is questionable to say the least.
Coincidence? Or did they put out a bunch of crap batches again?
